“Her fitness classes and training sessions are a pleasure to attend. Rebecca is particularly adept at tailoring the exercises to the participant’s fitness level and ability while still providing a challenging workout. For those of us who find it difficult to self-motivate, Rebecca’s infectious enthusiasm is a great motivator.” – Art, late 60s, retired engineer.
FUNktional Fitness [ZOOM]: Functional fitness exercises prepare and train your muscles to accomplish activities of daily living. This format is simple and safe for almost every body. Rebecca’s functional classes start with 30 minutes of dance aerobics choreographed to amazingly fun music and then move to 20 minutes of focused strengthening and toning and 5-10 minutes of stretching. Friday’s FUNktional Fitness classes are the same as Monday’s, with an extra long stretching session at the end led by the incredible Stretching Master, Soryl Rosenberg. FUNktional Fitness in the morning will set you up for your day feeling energized, strong, grounded and with high spirits!
Core & More [IN-PERSON]: This class focuses on the central principles of the Pilates method (Concentration, Control, Physical Centering, Flowing movement, Precision, & Breathing) as well as its foundational movement patterns. Core & More is a low impact program that improves overall strength, flexibility, posture, abdominal and back muscles, breathing, coordination, balance and reduces the likelihood of back pain or injury. Join us weekly for a 50 minute class to practice the basics of Pilates, strengthen and lengthen your body, get a great workout, and set yourself up for a lifetime of physical benefits.
HIIT me up! [IN-PERSON]: High Intensity Interval Training offers a full body workout combining cardio and strengthening. This workout is set to super fun music which will keep the energy high so you don’t even feel the time flying by! Lower impact modifications of each exercise are offered. Long after the class, your metabolism will be ramped up, burning fat and boosting muscle growth.
POUND [IN-PERSON]: Don’t just listen to the music – become the music. Get your cardio and strength training all in one badass workout. POUND® is designed for all fitness levels and provides an exhilarating atmosphere to let loose, tone up and rock out!
*What does “Pay What You Can” really mean?
I want to ensure that my fitness classes are accessible to anyone who wants to stay healthy, fit, and strong in their body and mind – especially during these isolating and sedentary times. Therefore, I want to make sure I offer affordable options while also valuing my time and expertise. So Pay What you Can is exactly that. If you value regular fun exercise experiences and have the finances to pay for it, then thank you for doing so! And if you feel the same, but finances are tighter at the moment, then pay what you can, when you can. The range has varied throughout this year but the average has been $18/class for those who attend every so often, $15/class for those who attend weekly. Hope that clarifies! If not, please always feel free to be in touch.
